ABOUT ME

My name is Alison Lucia and I am married to PJ. I have three grown up children
- Hannah, Naomi and Joel, and four grandchildren, Sam, Emma, Tristan and Lissy. 
 
Before the Covid pandemic I ran a thriving toddler group. Up to the end of 2024, I led the under 5's groups at my local church on a Sunday. After working for 12 years at a secondary school, I decided to follow my passion for working with young children and child mind full time. I use my experience and knowledge I have gained over the last 38 years to provide the best possible environment for your child, in order for them to develop and thrive. I provide a setting that is happy, calm, but full of activities. I love routine both for myself and the children and have some very clear basic rules. Sharing, being friends and having fun are my main wishes. 
 
I qualified as a nurse in 1987,  and worked in various healthcare settings around Shropshire. I then became a full time Nanny before I had my first two children. Once my children were at school I became a Teaching Assistant in the Primary School, where I worked closely with children with special educational needs as well as helping in the classroom assisting teachers and
other children alike. After my son was born, I moved into a technician’s role
in the Design and Technology Department at a Secondary School.
 
I enjoy walking holidays in the Lake District, varying crafts, growing fruit and
vegetables in the garden, reading and spending time with my Grandchildren.
